Today David got an exciting letter in the mail! It was from our favorite Italian buffet, Valentino's in Sioux Falls. Inside the envelope was a St. Patrick's Day picture that he had colored on our last visit there and a coupon for a free kid's buffet to "David Redhage, age 4 1/2, coloring contest winner!"
Now, we don't know how many winners there were, but we are very happy about the prospect of another lunch at Valentino's!
It was a very nicely done picture of a leprechaun and a pot of gold. Here is another of David's recent pictures. It is of a robin that lives in our backyard and is really pretty friendly. Sometimes his name is Baby Robin, and sometimes it is Little Robin. I never know what to call him. Anyway, this is one of David's first pictures that looks like something in real life.

Goodness, I remember when David was just getting his name out on the napkins at the pizza/pasta place! Gosh, time flies...and that is a beautiful picture of the bird! Shawn <><
