We had a great time at the new Children’s Museum in Brookings today!
Here are some of the highlights:
Shopping at the little grocery store
Michael likes bread and steak
Sarah likes flowers
David chose a well-balanced meal for his family, including his wife who likes orange juice with no pulp. She likes tea a lot, though.
They all delivered the mail and checked the boxes.
David built an earthquake-proof house on a shaking platform. When he turned the blocks sideways, it fell down.
Everybody likes the house!
Sarah and Michael worked on the farm, picking and processing vegetables.
Sarah picked potatoes and tomatoes.
They all loaded up the magnetic conveyer belt for the trip to the store.
After working on the farm, they fixed a car.
It was hard to build a house!
David enjoyed the cloud climber. Sarah and Michael did not so much.
Here’s a baobab tree from Mozambique.
The water room was another favorite activity. David and Sarah especially liked compressing the air to shoot the balls up into the tracks in the ceiling. Michael liked the water guns.
Everyone had a chance to read the weather forecast. Michael floated around in the background with his green sweatshirt.
It was a great day!
