Child Chatter

Our big boy sometimes says things that you might not expect to come out of a 6-year-old.
The other day, he suggested that for lunch, he and Daddy should "just drive around town and see what catches our fancy."
While talking about recess, he mentioned that he's "not too keen on bullies."

Our favorite, however, is his description of what happened the other night at the cast party/potluck for the musical we were in. After dinner, he was tossing his stuffed bunny around when a bigger boy took it! The bigger boy "led a merry chase" around the school before he finally gave the bunny back.

He says all these things with a straight face, as if they're a regular part of 21st century kindergarten culture. Do you think perhaps he's been reading a lot lately? :)

What has he been reading now? That doesn't sound much like Magic School Bus language.

A little Amy
Tucked inside my coat pocket
That is what I need
